Drainage & Grading

Flooding is usually the cause of poor drainage on your property. Altering the the terrain to divert water from rivers, tributaries, and stream is sometimes required to preserve your property and reduce erosion. This is done by rerouting or containing water flow by installing a culvert or various types of drainage systems.  

Having uneven terrain can often cause water from precipitation to flow into unwanted places causing flooding and runoff that can often lead to bigger problems. With our excavation equipment we can reshape the terrain to eliminate or redirect any  water causing undesirable conditions on your property or neighboring land.

Retaining walls are often used hold water and uneven terrain in place. Proper preparation for a retaining wall will usually require some dirt work. Having the right grade for the terrain and adequately placed backfill material  will determine the structural integrity of the wall and ability to divert water effectively without failure.
