Foreman / Job Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide labor and skill towards completion of projects.  Under general supervision, responsible for field crew operations.  Involves record keeping and maintenance of Baxter’s Excavation & Tree Removal property.

WORK HOURS

Typical work hours are from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, five days per week.  Additional hours may be available upon management approval and are prescheduled. On call every other weekend as well as emergency call out are also a requirement.

SALARY RANGE

Starting salary is $27.50 - $35.00 per hour DOE.  Overtime rate is one and a half times regular pay after 40 hours.  Payroll is paid bi-weekly.

QUALFICIATIONS

• Valid Washington State Driver’s License
• High School Diploma/GED
• 10 plus years of commercial/residential land development construction
• Must pass Pre employment drug test
• Ability to work in adverse conditions
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to complete job reports and required paperwork
• Establish and maintain effective relationship role

REGULAR JOB DUTIES

• Review day’s activities
• Attends crew meetings on and off site
• Perform all job functions as needed
• Organize and supervise crew
• Ensure safe operations on job sites
• Report any malfunction, damage or industrial injury
• Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
