Arborist / Climber / Faller

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide labor and skills toward completion of landscape maintenance jobs.  Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor.  Involves special skills and knowledge as well as vehicle use and equipment.  Requires physical agility and consideration for safety standards.

WORK HOURS

Typical work hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, five days per week.  Additional hours may be available upon management approval and are prescheduled.

SALARY RANGE

Starting salary is $30-$40 per hour DOE with increased incentives Depending on Experience and Knowledge. Overtime rate is one and a half times regular pay after 40 hours. Payroll is paid bi-weekly. General labor work and equivalent pay is available when climbing/falling work is not available.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma/GED

Read, speak & write English

Must have valid driver’s license

Ability to work in adverse conditions

Reliable transportation

At least 1-year relevant experience

Has knowledge of climbing and trimming procedures including rigging

REGULAR JOB DUTIES

Attend crew meetings

Perform all duties as instructed by the Foreman/Owner

Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly

Services/fuels vehicles and equipment

Assists other crew members as needed

Loading, lifting, dragging pulling as needed
